Government offices up for election in spring

Nomination papers can now be circulated for people interested in running for elective office in local municipalities in the spring. The general election is April 5, with a primary if necessary on Feb. 16. 
The deadline to submit nomination papers is Tuesday, Jan. 4, at 5 p.m.
