Leo E. Faust - Age 79, passed away on Oct. 29, 2021, while on vacation in New Orleans. Leo was born to Michael and Leona Faust in Kaukauna on Dec. 13, 1941. He attended Holy Cross Grade School and graduated from Kaukauna High School. Following high school, he joined the United States Coast Guard and served from 1960 to 1964 in Michigan on the Great Lakes where he met and married Beverly Gradisher. Leo was a pharmaceutical sales representative working for Merck Pharmaceutical wherein he retired at age 49. Over the last 20 years he has resided in Florida. Leo was a world traveler, and avid golfer, and most recently an enthusiastic bicyclist. He was very proud of his first Hole-in-One at Bradenton Country Club in Bradenton, Fla. Leo was preceded in death by his wife: Beverly; mother and father: Leona (Wilpolt) and Michael Faust; father and mother-in-law: Fred and Ann Gradisher; brother: Neil Faust and his wife: Lois Hansen; sister: Roberta (Sister Leone); and brothers-in-law: Richard Steffens and Fritz Diekvoss. Leo is survived by his siblings: Harold (Helen) Faust, Michaeline Steffens, Helen Diekvoss, and Joann (John) Mau. He is further survived by many loving nieces and nephews and his companion: Ruth Zanini. A celebration of life was held in Punta Gorda, Fla., on Dec. 4.
