Kenneth Donnermeyer

Kenneth A. Donnermeyer - Hollandtown - Age 67, passed away on Monday, Dec. 27, 2021. Ken was born on April 10, 1954, the son of the late John and Dorothy (Wirth) Donnermeyer. He married the love of his life, Jan Gerrits, on Aug. 27, 1977. Ken worked for U.S. Venture for many years. He was an avid Indianapolis Colts fan. He enjoyed watching and supporting his son-in-law as a football coach and enjoyed cars, especially Chevys and not the "F" word. He loved spending time with his puppies Axel (Cowboy) and Gus, along with his grand puppies Jordy, Walter, and Tinker Bell. He enjoyed cutting his lawn with perfectly straight lines, flying his remote-controlled planes, gardening in his yard, hunting with his friends and family, a good cocktail, camping, and volunteering and being active in the church community. He loved helping friends and family members with anything asked of him, especially building projects. He was a guy who could talk to anyone about anything and you felt like you knew him your whole life and would tell a good joke to get you to crack a smile. Ken is survived by his wife: Jan; daughter: Ashley (TJ) Schouten; sisters: Janet (Harvey) Raether, Pat Stuyvenberg, Shirley (Gary) Bley; brothers: Keith (Char) Donnermeyer, Diane Donnermeyer, Mark Donnermeyer; sisters-in-law: Joan (Ed) Van Dehy, Jenny (Jim) Lamers, Jill (Bert) Frank; brothers-in-law: Jeff (Julie) Gerrits, Joel (Deb) Gerrits, Jack Gerrits as well as many other relatives and friends. Ken was preceded in death by his son: Jesse Donnermeyer: ­­­­­his parents, and parents-in-law: Leo and Lillian Gerrits: brother: Jack Donnermeyer; sister: Joyce (Darvin) Fredrickson; sisters-in-law: Linda Donnermeyer, Linda Donnermeyer; and brothers-in-law: Dick Stuyvenberg and Howard Jansen. Funeral services were held on Dec. 30 at St. Francis in Hollandtown. Interment will be at St. Francis Cemetery.
