Roger M. Weyenberg - Neenah - Age 91, passed away peacefully of natural causes on Friday, Feb. 18, 2022. Roger was born in Kaukauna on Nov. 11, 1930, son of the late Jacob and Leone (Krueger) Weyenberg. After graduation from Kaukauna High School, Roger attended St. Norbert College and earned a bachelor’s degree in biology. He then served in the United States Navy as a medical assistant from 1952-56. He married Lucille “Jackie” Viator on May 29, 1954, in New York City. Roger worked at Kimberly-Clark as a technical training specialist in human resources for 35 years. Roger and Jackie enjoyed wintering in Texas for many years before Jackie’s death. In recent years he enjoyed spending time in the winter with his daughter Lynne on Dauphin Island, Ala. Roger is survived by his children: Lynn (Gene) Darkow, Mark (Patty) Weyenberg and Sharon (Paul) Bellin. He is also survived by his grandchildren: Jacob, Luke (Danielle), Samuel and Elizabeth Darkow; Karl (Kyra) Weyenberg, Joseph Weyenberg, and Kate (Joey) Reynolds; his great-grandchildren: Cam, Crue and Mackenzie Darkow, Amaria and Elliana Reynolds. He is further survived by a brother Ronald Weyenberg (special friend, Sandy Scheibe) and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Roger was preceded in death by his wife and his sister: Janet (Robert) Linskens. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, March 1, at St. Gabriel Catholic Church, 900 Geiger St., Neenah, with Fr. Bob Kollath officiating. Visitation will be held from 11:30 a.m. until the time of services. Full military honors will be performed by the Neenah-Menasha Funeral Honors Team following services.
