Pearl Cazzola-Walker

Pearl Mary Cazzola-Walker (nee Fink) - Age 97, passed away on Feb. 13, 2022, at the age of 97. Pearl was born on Sept. 11, 1924, in Hollandtown to Nell and Nicholas Fink in a small brown brick house. Pearl attended St Francis School through 10th grade, and then Kaukauna High School, where she graduated at the age of 16 with honors in 1941. Pearl moved to Milwaukee in the fall of 1942 at the age of 18 to work at Allen Bradley Company assembling radios for the Navy. While in Milwaukee, she met a young piano player named Liberace. Pearl was married to Olinto “Joseph” Cazzola, and then joined in marriage to Jerry Walker until his passing in 1983. She is survived by her sons: Fred (Peggy) Cazzola, Michael (Sara) Cazzola, David Cazzola and William Cazzola; grandchildren: Jennifer (Kris) Kitelinger, Jamie (Jenny) Cazzola, Carey (David) Johnson, Michelle Cazzola, Chris (Heather) Cazzola, Brian Cazzola, Courtney Cazzola, Nicholas Cazzola; Christina Cazzola and Shuma Kuwamoto; and great-grandchildren: Joseph and Maxwell Kitelinger, Tristan and Kaycee Cazzola, Noah and Kaya Kuwamoto, Corbyn and Canan Cazzola. Pearl is further survived by many nieces and nephews. Pearl was preceded in death by her husband: Jerry Walker, her parents: Nickolas and Nell Fink, in-laws: Joseph and Linda Cazzola, son: Richard (Dick), brother: Lyle and sister-in-law Arlene Fink. Pearl led an active lifestyle while raising her family. She worked for Tony Wonders Supper Club in Little Chute in the 1960’s, operated Walker’s Washerette in the 1970’s, and was late a pottery instructor in Libertyville when she lived in Illinois. She represented Jerry and Dees Tavern in 1965 for the 175th Jubilee Celebration in Kaukauna. Pearl was runner up in the celebration pageant. “Pearl’s our Girl!” Pearl learned to drive at young age of 38, and then a Licensed Restate Agent in Neenah at the young age of 70. For years while living in Libertyville, Pearl organized trips to Green Bay  Oneida Casino to play bingo. Later while living at the Bicentennial Apartments for nearly 20 years, she and her friends would travel once a month to Green Bay for more bingo. Pearl also organized bingo once a week for residents at Parkside Care Center. If there was game, she was there! Pearl spent her last years a resident at Little Chute Health Center (Parkside). The staff did everything possible to make her stay enjoyable and interesting! Mother was usually in a good mood until the weather would change which affected her stress and pain medication. She was always talking with her friends or singing. She always enjoyed the Elvis impersonator on her birthday and at the Parkside parties. A special thank you to Little Chute Health Services Staff and Nurses for taking care of our mother for almost 10 years and the hospice group on her final days! A small private service will be conducted at St. Mary Cemetery, Kaukauna, on Saturday 25 June 2022 at 1100.
