John Carroll

"Jack"

John Carroll “Jack” - Age 73, lost his battle with dementia on June 9, 2022. He was born on Nov. 7, 1948, to the late Richard and Mary (Pokrywka) Carroll in Wrightstown. He owned his own business, Jack Carroll Construction in Galloway, Wis. He loved working with wood, cooking and enjoyed driving his 1949 Ford Coup and his 1949 Chevy Panel Truck. He also enjoyed his travels to England and Arizona. As a child he attended St. Paul Catholic School and graduated from Wrightstown High School. Jack entered the United States Army in 1970 and was discharged in 1971. Jack is survived by his brothers and sisters: Mary Anne (Tom) Gussert, Dick Carroll, Ed (Carol) Carroll, Florence Angell, Margaret Carroll, and many nieces and nephews. He is further survived by his special friends: Rose Trost, John Phillips, Jim Lorbecki and Mike Roma. He is preceded in death by his parents, and brother-in-law: Lee Angell. Family and friends may visit at St. Clare Catholic Parish – St. Paul Site, 437 Main St., Wrightstown, on Thursday, June 16, from 10-11:45 a.m. Prayer service will be held at noon with Deacon Ken Kabat officiating. A very special thanks to Rose, John and Jim for being such great friends and “guardian angels” to Jack whenever he was in need of help. Also, thanks to the staff of Care Partners of Appleton for taking such good care of Jack during his stay there.
