Theresa Ponto

Theresa K. Ponto - Combined Locks - Age 59, passed away peacefully from the arms of her husband into the arms of Jesus on Thursday, June 16, 2022. She was born on Jan. 22, 1963, to the late Robert Kubale and Frances (Birringer) Kubale. On April 30, 1994, she married James Ponto Jr. Theresa worked for Pitney Bowes and for Learning Rx. She enjoyed helping children and young students at Discovery Land, Appleton Alliance Church and volunteered for the Combined Locks Advancement Association. She was passionate about reading and learning, and enjoyed sharing that passion with students. Theresa was family focused above all else, her cousins were some of her closest friends and she enjoyed organizing get-togethers. She will be forever loved and missed by all who knew her. With Christ we can move on fully knowing her pain is gone and she is in Heaven forever. She is survived by her husband: Jim, son: Daniel, and her mother: Frances Kubale. Theresa is further survived by her sister: Karen (Jesse) Romain, nieces and nephews: Kimberly Van Dyke, Aaron Micke, Joseph Romain, Janessa Romain and Christopher Romain. Preceding her in death is her father: Robert Kubale. In keeping with her wishes, a private family service has been held. A celebration of life will be held on July 2 at Pullmans at Trolley Square, 619 S. Olde Oneida St, Appleton from 2-6 p.m. In lieu of flowers and other expressions of sympathy, a memorial fund is being established. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the staff of 7^th floor ThedaCare Regional Medical Center, Appleton, 5^th floor ThedaCare Regional Medical Center, Neenah and Theda Oncology Team for the wonderful care given to Theresa. “I will see you in my dreams”
