Mildred Nackers

Mildred M. Nackers - Age 95, died Saturday, Dec. 3, 2022 peacefully at St. Paul Home surrounded by her loving family. Millie was born May 1, 1927 in the town of VandenBroek to the late Arthur and Henrietta (Schetler) Ehlke. She married Charles Nackers on Oct. 15, 1949, at St. Paul Catholic Church in Wrightstown. She worked for Mid Vallee Golf Course for a time but primarily worked at home, including in-home daycare. Millie enjoyed gambling, playing cards, fishing, and was an enthusiastic Packer fan. She is survived by her children: Dick and Sue Nackers of the Town of Vandenbroek, Dave and Sandie Nackers of Kaukauna, Steve and Carolyn Nackers of Little Chute, Bev and Butch Navin of Green Bay, Ron and Cindy Nackers of Appleton, Shirley Lund of Appleton; 19 grandchildren; 47 great-grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; and very special friends: Carl and Delores Frelich and their family of Wrightstown. In addition to her husband: Charles, and parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings: Dorothy (Robert) Striegel, Wilber Ehlke, Walter (Mildred) Ehlke, Robert (Pat) Ehlke; in-laws: George Nackers, Joseph (Ilene) Nackers, Albert “Boots” (Eileen) Nackers, and Mary Lou (Cyril “Bud”) VandenHeuvel; and Charles’ parents: William and Petronella (Nellie) Nackers. Family and friends may visit at St. Clare Catholic Parish-St. Paul Site, 437 Main St., Wrightstown, on Wednesday, Dec. 7, from 9-10:45 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. with Fr. Brian Wideman officiating. Burial will follow in St. Paul Cemetery, Wrightstown. Cotter Funeral and Cremation Care is assisting the family.
