Henry Arnold PeerenboomElcho - Age 82, passed away Friday, June 2, 2023, at his home surrounded by his family. Henry was born July 10, 1940, in Kimberly, the son of Henry and Marie (Derks) Peerenboom. He was united in marriage to Marlene Van Heeswyk, she preceded him in death.  Henry served six months in active duty and nine years in the U.S. Army Reserves. He graduated from Kimberly High School and is in the Hall of Fame for sports.  He loved fishing and hunting, coaching Little League for the KRA and CLAA. He played fastpitch softball for Jack’s Rose Hill. Henry worked for the paper mill for 42 years. He made Moccasin Lake in Elcho his permanent residence following his retirement.  Surviving are his sons: Lee (Carree) Peerenboom, Winneconne; Peter Peerenboom, Elcho; Patrick (Terri) Peerenboom, Huntsville, Texas; grandchildren: Tori (Curt) Wojhan, Maggie (Brittany) Peerenboom, Madison Peerenboom, Hannah Peerenboom; great-grandchildren: Ty and Carson; sisters: Mary Lou Fairchild, Little Chute; Carol (Tom) Bogenschulz, Longview, Texas; Irene Tiedemann, Wausau; brothers: Jim (Pat) Peerenboom, Combined Locks; Tom (Shari) Peerenboom, Washington State; brother-in-law: Bernie VanRoy, Kimberly; sister-in-law: Joyce Peerenboom; special friend: Jan Vanduser; fishing partners: Mark and Ted Vanduser; and “Little Brother” Todd Olskie of Big Brothers, Big Sisters Foundation.  He was preceded in death by his parents; wife: Marlene; brothers: Don (Dorothy), Carl, Clarence (Betty), Gene “Chesty”; sisters: Rita VanRoy, Barbara Peerenboom; brother-in-law: Ron Fairchild; and sister-in-law: Marge Peerenboom.
