"Joe"

Joseph Uitenbroek - “Joe” Age 87, passed away on Thursday, Aug. 24, 2023. Joe was born on Oct. 31, 1935, to Joseph and Mary (Sprangers) Uitenbroek in Darboy. He was a U.S. Army veteran. On Sept. 17, 1957, he was united in marriage to Eleanor Diedrick at St. John Catholic Church in Little Chute. Joe was a dedicated husband and father; his family was most important to him. He was a hard-working dairy farmer and longtime volunteer firefighter. He was a member of St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church, and an active volunteer in many organizations, especially the Salvatorian Mission. Joe is survived by his children: Luke (Michelle), Ann (Dick) Kussow, Mark (Renee), Carl (Cheryl), Bruce (Lori), Kay (Bryan) Van Rossum, Doris (Steve) Lamers, Joe (Tracy) and Amy (Mike) Hendricks; his grandchildren: Jeremy, Justin, Emily, Luke and Vanessa Uitenbroek; Kevin (Tanya), Jeff (Sarah), and Jeanette Kussow; Gregory, Erin, Christine, and Joseph Uitenbroek; Jason and Leah Uitenbroek; Crystal (Andy) Boylan, Cody (Emma) and Charlie Van Rossum; Steven (Tara), Jonathon (Sarah), Maria (Tommy) Schneider and Andrew Lamers; Alexis (Prasan) Knotek and Ben (Lily) Uitenbroek; Carlie (fiancé Douglas Klister), Mason, Carissa and Isaac Hendricks; and 10 precious great-grandchildren with four on the way; in-laws: Irene, Ruth and Lynn Uitenbroek, Sr. Marian Diedrick, Rose Ebben, Imelda (Marv) Hietpas, Rita (Jerry) Hietpas, Bob (Judy) Diedrick, Jerome (Pat) Diedrick and other relatives and friends. Joe will be welcomed into heaven by his wife: Eleanor; son: Jim; his parents; his father- and mother-in-law: Stephen and Clara Diedrick; siblings: Denis, Claude, Don (Lorraine), Jerome, Clifford (Joann), Paul (Donna) and Mark (Janice); in-laws: Margaret (Larry) Artz, and John Ebben. Funeral services for Joe will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 31, at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church, 411 Vandenbroek St., Little Chute with Fr. Ron Belitz officiating. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 30 (TODAY), at the church from 3-7 p.m. with a prayer service concluding the evening. Visitation will continue at the church on Thursday morning from 9 a.m. until the time of services. Burial will be at St. Paul Catholic Cemetery, Wrightstown.
