Gerald David Wyngaard - Kimberly Age 85, passed away on Nov. 17, 2023, in Appleton. Gerry was born on Sept. 19, 1938, in Kaukauna to Albert J. and Elsie (Paschen) Wyngaard. He served his country honorably as a member of the U.S. Marine Corps. After his discharge he continued to serve in the National Guard and was a member of the American Legion, Post 60. He married Jean Marie Case on July 22, 1961, and she preceded him in death in Sept. 24, 2006. Gerry was employed as a pipefitter and Industrial Firechief in the Kimberly Mill. He was a gun collector and enjoyed playing guitar, and reading, especially westerns. He was an active member of Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church in Harrison and was a member of the church’s praise team. He will be sadly missed by children: Barbara (Mark) Wastel and Ann (Franklin) Chalker; grandchildren: Leah (Heath) Winkelman, Adria Lehndorf, David Lehndorf, Lyle Chalker; great-grandchildren: Dominick Winkelman, Alicia Winkelman, Sylvia Lehndorf, and Parker Lehndorf; siblings: Shirley (Richard) Derks and Kenneth (special friend Sheila Hein) Wyngaard; as well as nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife: Jean; sister: Joyce (James) Eichinger; and brother: Robert (Rose) Wyngaard. Funeral services were held at Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church in Harrison with the Rev. Jesse Johnston officiating. Burial will be at a later date at Union Cemetery in Kaukauna. The family would like to thank the staff and nurses at Rennes of Appleton and the hospice workers at ThedaCare at Home Hospice for the care given to Gerry.
