Jeffrey Trickey

Jeffrey Scott Trickey Age 72, passed away on June 6, 2024, into the loving arms of our Lord, who took him Home to begin his Heavenly life. He was born on Dec. 10, 1951, in Rhinelander, the son of Frank and Ardeth (Niemuth) Trickey. He graduated from Milford High School in Michigan, then began his career as an independent contractor, where he excelled at home construction with his vast knowledge of the trade. His passion for baseball shined through when he founded a youth baseball league, where he also coached for several years. He valued hard work, family, and the Bible. Jeff will be remembered for his kind, giving, and principled nature, always wanting to help others above himself. He loved his family, and he shared that his children were his greatest pride and joy.  Jeff is survived by his children: Amy Smith, Aaron (Maureen) Trickey, Andrea (Greg) Rainka, Brice (Lindsey) Trickey, Jared (Jennifer) Trickey, and Kerrianne (Jared) Trickey; his 19 grandchildren; his siblings: Greg Trickey, Shirley Holbrook, and Carol Shockey; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.  Jeff was preceded in death by his parents: Frank and Ardeth Trickey; and his sister: Kathy Zorn.  A Celebration of Life will be held on Sept. 14 from 1-3 p.m. at the Rosewood Barn in Gleason, Wis.
