Margaret T. Dercks - “Muggie” - Combined Locks - Age 88, passed away at her home surrounded by her family on Oct. 11, 2024. She was born on Nov. 24, 1935, daughter of the late Henry and Ellen Verhoeven. Muggie married Tom Dercks on Sept. 13, 1955, and recently celebrated 69 years of marriage. Muggie loved playing cards and gambling, and enjoyed going to work at the casino with her sister Marge. She enjoyed time up north at Rolling Stone Lake. Her family was the most important thing to her, and she loved to spend time with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and her beloved pup Coco. Muggie is survived by her loving husband: Tom Dercks; children: Deb (Jeff) Jansen, Peggy (Jerry) Weyers, Timbo (Donna) Dercks, Randy (Kay) Dercks, Todd (Wendy) Dercks and Kathy (Mike) Hanson; grandchildren: Deb’s: Tina (Dan), Chad (Ashley), Dana (Josh), Kara, Jake (Jackie); Peggy’s: Jillian (Mike) and Kaite (Scott); Timbo’s: Nick (Amanda) and Don; Randy’s: Kelly (Quinton), Andy and Samantha (Paul); Todd’s: Heather (John), Stephanie (Brian) and Aaron (Hannah); Kathy’s: Austin (Brittany) and Alex (Amber); great-grandchildren: Randee, Malachi, Abram, Harper, Myles, Kinsley, Owen, Hudson, Memphis, Beau, Emmy, Marlee, Jaxon, Teagan, Wells, Liza, Mara, Ethan, Will, Spencer, Riley, Logan, Haley, Alyza, Ava, Carson, Lennan, Presley, Vivian, Lilianna, Kayson, Emma and Huk; sisters: twin Marge Vosters, Annie (Jim) Albrecht and Vonnie (Stan) Martin; sisters-in-law: Joan Geurts and Dolores (Duane) Vanderloop; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Muggie was preceded in death by her parents; siblings: Jean Schmidt and Ken Verhoeven; Tom’s siblings: Julia, Paul, Mutzie, Eleanor, Rusty, Gene, Roger, Laverne, Irene, Scutz, David and Jim. Memorial services will be held at noon on Wednesday, Oct. 16, at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church, 411 Vandenbroek St., Little Chute.
