Mary Carnot

(nee Siebers)

Mary Ann Carnot - (nee Siebers) Age 91, passed on to her heavenly home surrounded by family on Nov. 29, 2024. She was born May 13, 1933, in Little Chute to the late Henry and Henrietta (Emmers) Siebers. Mary and her loving husband Paul Carnot were married for 53 years. They were blessed with seven children, 18 grandchildren, and 20 great-grandchildren. Mary’s greatest love was her family. She was a constant caregiver, loving spouse, mother, sibling, and friend. She enjoyed hosting family members, providing a place to sleep, hot meals, great conversation and laughter, and maybe a Sheepshead game or two. She served as a den mother, parish council member, and participated in bible study and choir in her later years. She volunteered as a school reader after her children were on their own. She genuinely loved giving back and caring for others.  Mary worked at Thilmany Mill for more than 25 years. She was known for her math skills, quick wit and constant smile. She received many employee awards. She and Paul enjoyed many years of gardening, travel and golf when they were both retired. Mary was known for her spectacular perennial garden. Mary also loved to travel and had the opportunity to visit her family in many states and countries including England, Germany, and Italy.  Mary is survived by her loving children and grandchildren: Dale (Jeanne) Carnot and their children: Kelly Carnot and Matt Gomez, Jackie (Owen) Wallace, and Paul (Rachel) Carnot; Chris (Frank) Bouressa and their children: Tony (Emma), Molly (Adam) Van Zeeland, Lucy (Nathan) Werley, Becky (Marlowe) Banatao and Donny Bouressa; Cathy (Monroe) Carnot-Bond and their children: Sarah and Daniel (Sakidra Davis-Bond) Bond; Alan (Chris) Carnot and their children: Michael, Tom (Fatima Girach) Carnot; Mary Jo Carnot and her daughter Amanda Kolen; Lisa (Dave) Salter and their children: Maureen (Josh) Devereaux, Shannon and Patrick Salter; Leslie (Dan) Petrie and their children: Anna and Robert Petrie. She is further survived by her sisters-in-law: Janet Jansen, Naomi Carnot; 19 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.   She was preceded in death by her loving husband: Paul; her great-granddaughter: Macy; her parents: Henry and Henrietta; her siblings: George (Cookie), Bob (Pat), Paul, Germaine (Wayne), Norbertine Father Glen, Ruth (Ralf), Orville, Mark (Bill), Roger, Theresa. She was also preceded in death by her in-laws: William and Edith (Meyer) Carnot, David and Dorothy Carnot, Alice and Gerald Diestler, and Joanne and Bob Franz; Goddaughter Nancy Bewick; nieces: Nicole Santoski Rhode, Michele Micky Stamm; and nephews: Tom Carnot and Kurt Diestler. A Funeral Mass for Mary will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2024, at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church, 411 Vandenbroek St., Little Chute. Visitation will begin at 3:00 p.m. and will continue until the  time of the Mass. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to your favorite charity in honor of Mary.
