Roger Vanavenhoven

"Pete"

Roger Walter Vanevenhoven (Pete) - Age 85, died peacefully at home with his family at his side. He was born in Appleton on April 11, 1939, to Sylvester Sr. and Rita (Hartzheim) Vanevenhoven. Pete graduated from Kaukauna High School in 1958 after which he served four years in the Navy. On Feb. 9, 1962, Pete married Mary Lou Lamers. They were married for 62 years. Pete retired from Metso. He enjoyed spending time with family, was passionate about the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman. Pete is survived by his wife: Mary; daughters: Jennifer Still and Sarah (Erik) Humphrey; daughter-in-law, Sue Vanevenhoven; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; siblings: Dave Vanevenhoven and Diane Thon; and sister-in-law: Mickey Vanevenhoven. In addition to his parents, Pete was preceded in death by his son: Timothy Vanevenhoven, son-in-law: Randy Still; brothers: Bud Vanevenhoven and Ron Vanevenhoven; and sister-in-law: Margarita Vanevenhoven.
