Thomas William Conrad - Age 72, passed away unexpectedly on March 27, 2025. He was born on Dec. 12, 1952, to the late John E. and Elizabeth “Betty” (Brown) Conrad. He grew up in Kaukauna and graduated from Kaukauna High School. Following graduation, he began a family in Kaukauna. Soon after, he began work as an assembler at Giddings and Lewis. When that company transitioned to become Appleton Machine and then Valmet where he continued work as an assembler. While attending a Corvette Club event, Tom met Mary Britten. It took some time but the two were destined to be together and they shared their love and life for 30 years. Tom loved his time on Clover Leaf Lake where he had a cabin. He enjoyed the drive to get there, and he loved keeping the grounds pristine. Tom was a man of integrity who honored his word. He felt content in who he was; and expressed that contentment in his relationships with friends and family with loyalty to all. He was a man of simple needs, and found enjoyment in the simple pleasures of life. Tom is survived by his loving companion: Mary; his daughter: Tonya (Neil VandenLangenberg) Conrad; his siblings: David Conrad, Patti Graverson and Sandy (Fritz) Gast; many nieces and nephews as well as some great pool buddies: John and Butch. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister: Sharon Wildenberg; his sister-in-law: Lynn Conrad; and brother-in-law: Pete Graverson. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Thursday, April 10, at 11 a.m. at St. Katharine Drexel Catholic Church, 119 7th St., Kaukauna. Friends and family may gather at the church from 9 a.m. until Mass begins.
