Fumiko M. Eppinger - Kaukauna - Age 95, died Saturday, May 24, 2025. She was born Jan. 1, 1930, to the late Kentoro Masuya in Tokyo, Japan. Fumiko met her late husband, Jerome Eppinger, at a square dance in Tokyo. She worked as a waitress for many years at Siego’s and Nakashima of Japan. Fumiko thought of the Nakashimas as family and they treated as such. She was a loving and caring person with lots of friends and put a smile on everyone’s face with her love and compassion. Fumiko is survived by her sons: John (Sue) Eppinger of Kimberly, and Kenneth (Doreene) Eppinger of Two Rivers; and her grandchildren. She is further survived by her family in Tokyo: brother: Toru, and nieces: Meiko and Tomoko; other relatives, and friends. Fumiko was preceded in death by her husband: Jerome Eppinger; and her relatives in Japan: her mother, two sisters, and brother: Kenichi Visitation will be held June 17, 2025 at ST. KATHARINE DREXEL PARISH - ST. MARY CHURCH from 9-10:45 a.m. Her funeral Mass will follow at 11 a.m., officiated by the Rev. Luke Ferris. Committal St. Paul Cemetery, Combined Locks.
