Terry J. Jansen - Age 70, passed away unexpectedly on June 7, 2025, at home due to natural causes. He was born Jan. 2, 1955, in Appleton, son of the late Joseph “Bully” and Delores “Toots” Jansen. Terry attended St. John High School in Little Chute where he was two-time All-City tackle in football and state track champion in 1973. After graduating, Terry attended UW-La Crosse for two years. Around this time, he teamed up with Hambone (Mark Hammen) and traveled to Hawaii and spent six months there before calling home to ask his mom for money home. She sent it along with a necklace of St. Christopher that he wore the rest of his life. Soon after he made it home, Terry got hired at Kimberly Clark in their Research and Development Department and he worked there for more than 30 years, heading up the safety team toward the end of his career. Terry retired from Kimberly Clark in 2013. Terry married the love of his life, Susan, on July 26, 2003. They lived on their dream property at Lake Winnebago and loved fishing so much that they sponsored a Perch Derby for 19 years at their home with many friends and family attending annually. He was a member of the Stockbridge Harbor Fishing Club for many years. They also enjoyed sitting on their deck enjoying the view listening to many John Prine and Jerry Jeff Walker songs. Terry enjoyed his Canada fishing trips and hunting with his buddies, the “Fudd Club.” They traveled to Florida regularly to visit his cousin, Jimmy "Magic" Metz and wife, Beth, and to various places his daughter Lisa lived. He loved his Milwaukee Brewers, Wisconsin Badgers, Green Bay Packers, and golf. He was a season ticket holder for the Packers and never missed a game for many, many years. They enjoyed time with family and friends up north at Pelican Lake for years. Terry was loved by many and that reflected by all his nicknames given throughout the years, from TJ, to Jans, and The Waterwolf, to mention some. His smile and laughter was contagious and many considered him their best friend. He was a great father and deeply loved his family. Terry was always down for telling some good stories. Terry and Susan had three daughters between the two of them: Emily (Judd) Miller - Little Chute, Lisa (Sandy) Jansen - Florida, and Jessi (Brandon) Hoerth - Chilton; six grandchildren: Olivia, Samantha, Maya, and Marie Miller, and Jackson and Bella Hoerth; four siblings: Tom (Pat) Jansen, Todd (Adalia) Jansen, Tina (Tim) Paulson, and Jenny Wydeven; nieces, nephews, in-laws, cousins, extended family and many friends. He was preceded in death by his Mom and Dad: Toots and Bully Jansen; and brothers-in-law: Bob Barlow and Michael Wydeven. A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. on Monday, June 23, at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church, 411 Vandenbroek St., Little Chute, with Dcn. Mark Ebben officiating. Friends may call from 1-3 p.m. at the church prior to service. At the time of the service and following, there will be a link available for those wishing to watch a live stream or archived recording of the service, watch a memorial video, or see pictures of the flowers and gifts given to the family on their website page provided through wietingfuneralhome.com. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the Stockbridge First Responders. In lieu of flowers or gifts, please spend time with family and friends that are still around; life is too short. "Keep your chin up!” - Terry Jansen
