The concept of a roundabout to help slow traffic and possibly encourage both pedestrian traffic and development in the village proved to be something of the mythical phoenix rising from the ashes in Sherwood at the May 27 session of the village board.

The Kaukauna Utilities Commis-sion celebrated Lee Meyerhofer’s 30-year anniversary as a member of the commission at its May meeting. The general manager at the time was Ernie Mullen, and Meyerhofer re-placed Robert Lamers on the commission.
