Flags fly at half-staff for Stephen Smith

Flags flew at half-staff last Wednesday in Wisconsin to honor Stephen Smith, 54, a Vandenbroek Kaukauna firefighter who died on Dec. 20 after contracting COVID-19. A Vandenbroek Kaukauna fire truck carried his ashes to Holy Cross Church in Kaukauna for visitation. Smith spent 28 years with the Vandenbroek Kaukauna Fire Department.

Delightfully Calumet holiday light show open Christmas and New Year’s weekends

The Holiday Light Show produced by Delightfully Calumet, Inc. will be open Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Sunday, Dec. 26, New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day and will be open on Sunday, Jan. 2, from 5–9 p.m. The fifth annual Holiday Light Show is located at the Hobart Park/Calumet County Fairgrounds located at 231 Chestnut St. in Chilton.
