ThedaCare updates vaccine availability through March 30

ThedaCare was expecting to receive 1,932 doses of COVID-19 vaccine from March 17-30. A majority of vaccine appointments are scheduled 7-10 days in advance. More eligible patients will be contacted through MyThedaCare if additional doses become available. Walk-in vaccinations are not available at this time.

Child spots fire at Mona J’s Precious Memories

A 10-year old from Kaukauna took quick action, asking her mother to call 911 when she spotted a fire in the rear of a commercial garage at Mona J’s Precious Memories Wedding Chapel and Cakes at 1913 Crooks Ave. on Friday evening.

Fox Cities Convention & Visitors Bureau Awards tourism asset emergency grant to Friends of Grignon Mansion

The Fox Cities Convention & Visitors Bureau awarded a total of $225,000 to 11 Fox Cities organizations hardest hit by the COVID-19 pandemic. The Tourism Asset Emergency Grants are meant to help sustain local organizations that host and rely on large group events until these gatherings can safely return.

KU approves re-upping ATC investment

The Kaukauna Utilities Commission approved contributing $43,100 to American Transmission Company in 2021 to maintain its percentage interest in ATC at .1724 percent at its February meeting.
This is an annual approval that’s as good an investment the commission can possibly make.

Calumet County opens public COVID-19 vaccination clinic

Calumet County, in partnership with Ascension Calumet and St. Martin Lutheran Church, has opened a public vaccination clinic at St. Martin Church, 717 Memorial Drive, in Chilton. The clinic is typically open on Tuesdays, Wednes-days, and Fridays, dependent on the availability of vaccine doses.
