The Heart of the Valley Metropolitan Sewerage District held its quarterly community meeting Thursday at the Kaukauna Community Room, where President Dave Casper disputed some information from a story in the March 24 Times-Villager, titled, “Kaukauna struggling with potential HOV Sewer District construction assessment.”

Gov. Tony Evers has announced his appointment of Mark G. Schroeder to the Outagamie County Circuit Court. The appointment fills a vacancy created by the retirement of Judge John Des Jardins. Schroeder will serve a term ending July 31, 2022. 

The Outagamie County Emer-gency Management Department resumes the audible outdoor warning system test Saturday at noon. 

Gov. Tony Evers, seeking to advance goals that include addressing the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, proposes in his 2021-23 budget bill to bolster spending on education, economic development, social services, and infrastructure.

The Northeast Wisconsin Passion Play, a dramatic musical depicting the ministry and Passion of Christ through an original script, contemporary Christian score and dance, will stream on-demand March 25-April 2. On-demand tickets allow a 48-hour window within the streaming dates to view once the code contained in the ticket is entered.

ThedaCare was expecting to receive 1,932 doses of COVID-19 vaccine from March 17-30. A majority of vaccine appointments are scheduled 7-10 days in advance. More eligible patients will be contacted through MyThedaCare if additional doses become available. Walk-in vaccinations are not available at this time.
