Kimberly alum and Northern Michigan men’s basketball player Jackson Dudek set a new career high last week. The former Papermakers basketball player scored 29 points on 10-for-12 shooting with seven rebounds in a 109-52 win over Marian on Sunday.
Kimberly alum and UW-La Crosse senior women’s basketball player Ali Sprangers has seen her game take a complete 180 since starting her collegiate career with the Eagles. She has played in a post player role with the program since her collegiate career began.
Keira Plate, Ava Reader and Misty Borchert made their mark last week for the Kaukauna Galloping Ghosts girls basketball team. Plate poured in a 23 point performance against Fond du Lac, while Reader and Borchert both added in double digit performances last week for the Ghosts.
Kimberly Papermakers wrestling got three wins in the Duals in the Dells last week as they beat Freedom (47-32), Boyceville (61-17), and Greenfield (51-30) as they went 3-2 in the duals.
The Little Chute Mustangs girls basketball showed some fight last week. The team trailed by nine late before using a late run to get back in it during their road loss to Marinette last week.
It was a big night for Kaukauna senior Andrew Jensen on Friday night when the Galloping Ghosts beat Fond du Lac 59-42 in a Fox Valley Association game at KHS.
