The Kaukauna Galloping Ghosts wrestling team came back from an early deficit to secure the grip on the FVA title. In their 47-19 win over Hortonville, the Ghosts came back to secure the victory after losing their first three matches against the previously unbeatenb Polar Bears.

Little Chute freshman Lauren Vosters had the most iconic moment of the Mustangs girls basketball season last week. With the game tied, the freshman grabbed the rebound and banked in a game winner to give Little Chute a 41-38 home win over Oconto Falls.
Cooper Effa and Trevor Verhagen both had 20-point performances, while Jaden Hermsen had 11 points and Jack Schultz had 12 rebounds as Little Chute’s boys basketball team had a 64-50 road win over Oconto Falls last week.
LA CROSSE – The trip to the Midwest Players Classic was not kind to the Kaukauna boys basketball team, with the Galloping Ghosts suffering their first loss of the season, 69-53, to Marshfield.
HORTONVILLE — For most of the first half, the Hortonville Polar Bears were keeping up with Kaukauna, the Fox Valley Association leader and state’s third-ranked team, but the Ghosts came to life and earned a convincing 74-48 victory on Tuesday, Jan. 13, on the road.
