Brady Koester provided a big bat for the Kimberly Papermakers baseball team in their matchup with the crosstown rivals. Koester hit two home runs in Kimberly’s 8-1 win over Kaukauna last week at Sunset Park.

Kaukauna’s track and field teams both took first at the Gary Reybrock Invitational at Little Chute High School last week. The boys team scored 150 points, while the girls team had 145 points.

Little Chute football coach Ted Evers was named the Region 2 small head coach of the year by the Wisconsin Football Coaches Association last week. Evers is the second Litle Chute coach to receive a coach of the year award since Bill Fitzpatrick in 1979.

Daniel Van Dyke continues to put on consistent performances for the Kaukauna track and field team. Van Dyke took first in two events last week at the boys conference quad in Hortonville.
