The Little Chute Mustangs had a bit of an offensive surge last week as they head into their playoff game against Oconto Falls this week. Addi Daelke and Maya Ruesch combined for 30 points in the team’s loss against Marinette as the team enters the playoffs with a 3-19 record.

After a bit of a scoring drout in the second half for both teams, the Kimberly girls basketball team used a late surge to get their final win of the regular season. The team used a 16-6 run to secure a win over Appleton West last week.

Alexa Kinas, Addison Baumgart and Jozy Ebben helped secure some winning momentum for the Kaukauna Galloping Ghosts girls basketball team last week. The three all scored in double figures as they team beat Fond du Lac on the road last week in conference play.

Kaukauna earns spot at team state

Kaukauna’s wrestling team will also have a chance at a third straight team championship in Madison in two weeks. The team defeated Hortonville and Oshkosh West at the Slinger regional on Feb. 14 to earn a spot in the team championships held starting on March 3rd.

Campbell makes history for Kimberly girls wrestling program

Kimberly freshman Sadie Campbell made history for the Kimberly Papermakers wrestling team last week. She became the first ever girls representative for the school after taking first in the 152 pound weight class at the Oshkosh North sectional on Feb. 18.
