After a bit of a scoring drout in the second half for both teams, the Kimberly girls basketball team used a late surge to get their final win of the regular season. The team used a 16-6 run to secure a win over Appleton West last week.

Kaukauna girls head into playoffs with road win

Alexa Kinas, Addison Baumgart and Jozy Ebben helped secure some winning momentum for the Kaukauna Galloping Ghosts girls basketball team last week. The three all scored in double figures as they team beat Fond du Lac on the road last week in conference play.

Kaukauna earns spot at team state

Kaukauna’s wrestling team will also have a chance at a third straight team championship in Madison in two weeks. The team defeated Hortonville and Oshkosh West at the Slinger regional on Feb. 14 to earn a spot in the team championships held starting on March 3rd.

Kimberly freshman Sadie Campbell made history for the Kimberly Papermakers wrestling team last week. She became the first ever girls representative for the school after taking first in the 152 pound weight class at the Oshkosh North sectional on Feb. 18.

Mursau finishes third in sectional swim meet

In his first ever sectional swim meet appearance, Kaukauna junior Cole Mursau ended his junior season on a high note in the pool. The junior had a personal record in the 100 yard butterfly with a 54.85 last week at the sectional meet in Neenah.
