Little Chute volleyball earns first conference win of season


Andrew Hanlon photo/Little Chute’s Maya Wegand had 12 kills, 20 digs and 8 aces in the Mustangs’ NEC win over Wrightstown Thursday night. She added 18 more kills, 10 more aces and 19 more digs in a tournament at Appleton East Saturday.
The Little Chute volleyball team held on late to grab a 3-2 win over Wrightstown at home Thursday night, picking up its first conference win of the season.
The Mustangs also went .500 in a tournament at Appleton East High School on Saturday.

Kaukauna girls golf wins 2021 Fox Valley Association championship

The Kaukauna girls’ golf team shot a 353 at last Thursday’s Fox Valley Association Conference Meet, beating Neenah by nine strokes to bring home a conference championship.
Ava Bloch led the way with an 83 for the Ghosts, the second-lowest individual score of the day.

No. 1-ranked Kaukauna boys’ volleyball wins again at Middleton Invite

Kaukauna girls’ volleyball beats East, finishes second at Monona Grove

The Kaukauna girls’ volleyball team moved to 3-1 overall in the Fox Valley Association with a win over Appleton East on Thursday. 
The Ghosts then headed to Monona Grove for a tournament on Saturday, where they finished second overall.

Kaukauna girls’ tennis earns win over Spartans

The Kaukauna girls’ tennis team picked up a win last week, beating Oshkosh North 6-1 Thursday afternoon.
Maddie Smith got a win in No. 1 singles for the Ghosts, beating the Spartans’ Maya Walker in three sets, 6-1, 5-7, 10-6. 
Kaukauna’s No. 3 singles player, Kendra Lamers, took down Madeline Drews, 6-4, 6-3.

Little Chute volleyball drops home match against conference foe Waupaca

The Little Chute volleyball team hosted Waupaca Thursday night but the Comets proved to be too much as the Mustangs fell in three sets.
Little Chute kept the first set close before ultimately losing 25-22. The Mustangs then lost the second set 25-8 and the third 25-18.
