Voters authorize Kaukauna school board to purchase land


Submitted illustration — The Kaukauna school board last week voted to purchase 144 acres of land, located inside the blue area on this map, for $3.6 million. The board vote came after a special meeting of electors of the school district. The land is located southwest of the Highway 55-CE roundabout in the city of Kaukauna.

Ghosts take conference golf title with good play on back nine

The Kaukauna Galloping Ghosts golf team had four scores in the top 10 during the Fox Valley Association conference meet at Chaska Golf Course on Sept. 22. Charlie Clinefelter led the way with an 85 to help lead the team towards a conference title at the event.
