Kimberly softball takes down Appleton East in high-scoring affair before loss to Kaukauna

The Kimberly softball team hosted Appleton East Tuesday at the lower diamond of Sunset Park, and behind three home runs – one from Morgan Vandermissen and two from Brooke Ellestad – scored 12 runs on 11 hits for a 12-9 win.
