Richard Roehrborn

Richard Thomas Roehrborn - Guysville, Ohio - formerly of Wrightstown - Age 56, passed away Sunday, Sept. 19, 2021, from a brief illness at The Kobacher Hospice House Columbus, Ohio. Richard was born Jan. 7, 1965, the 11th child of the late Milford Sr. and Lilas (Peterson) Roehrborn. Rick was a talented hair dresser. He loved music, animals, dancing, and laughter. In Rick’s younger years, he enjoyed riding horses in the summers. Rick loved holidays, especially Christmas. Las Vegas was his favorite place to vacation. Rick was also preceded in death by his brother: Jeffrey Roehrborn and his sister: Suzanne (Roehrborn) Liebergen VandeHey; brothers-in-law: Richard Liebergen and Mark VandeHey. He is survived by his partner of six years Michael Mayle of Ohio, four sisters: Kathy (Ken) Van De Hey, Debbie Laux, Linda (Richard) Schroeder, and Carolyn Romenesko; four brothers: Milford Jr. (Sue) Roehrborn, Phil (Ron Suhr) Roehrborn, Charles Sr. (Linda) Roehrborn, Ronald (Jean) Roehrborn; 25 nieces and nephews, many great and great-great nieces and nephews. Rick had a special bond with his niece Heather (Behling) Wheeler. Louis Clark, his lifelong friend, stood by his side when he needed him the most. There will be a private ceremony. To all the doctors, nurses, social workers, hospice team, and specialists at the OhioHealth Neuroscience Center, Silver Tower, 4th and 5th floor, we would like to thank you for all your expert care and compassion you gave Rick. To all the staff at the Kobacher Hospice House, thank you for support and keeping Rick comfortable in his final days. Thank you to the Chaplins at the Kobacher House for all the prayers and the wonderful final blessing of Rick. It was very beautiful and comforting.
