Lisa Ebben

Lisa G. Ebben - Age 62, passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 28, 2022, Lisa Gaye Ebben (Onken), loving wife and mother of three, passed away to complications of cancer. Born to Larry and Maureen Onken, Lisa grew up in Sterling, Ill.  Lisa met Michael in the spring of 1981 and were married Aug. 29, 1981. They have spent the last 41 years happily married. Lisa’s greatest joys in life were being a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Lisa had a love for culinary arts and was always making something delicious in her kitchen. She enjoyed spending summer days by her pool with her friends, family and grandkids. Lisa had many great memories traveling with her husband and friends.  She is survived by her husband: Michael and their children: RoseAnn (Matthew) Linsmeyer, Andrew (Kristina) Ebben, and Jacob Ebben; two grandchildren: Pierce and Dillon Ebben; her father: Larry (Vernie) Onken; two sisters: Heidi (Dale) Youngs and Heather (Michael) VanHoof; four sisters-in-law: June (Dan) Pynenberg, Virgina (Roman) Salm Jr., Mary Kay (Mark) Vosters, Sherry (Tim) Leatherbury; two brothers-in-law: Adrian (Lynn) Ebben and Mark (Mary) Ebben; and many more loved ones.  She was preceded in death by her mother: Maureen Onken; and father and mother-in-law: Edward and Inez Ebben. Lisa was best known for her quick-witted humor, welcoming hospitality, and kind hearted spirit. Lisa will be incredibly missed by all who knew her.  A memorial service was held at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church in Little Chute on Jan. 3.
