Norma Osswald

Norma Jean Osswald Age 82, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 27, 2023. She was born on April 26, 1940, to Herman and Anna Chrstiansen in Marathon. On July 26, 1958, she married the love of her life, Rudy Osswald, in Eau Claire. Norma provided in home child care for 15 years and was a long-time member of Bethany Lutheran Church in Kaukauna. In her free time, she enjoyed quilting, traveling, going camping, fishing, and spending time with her family and friends. Norma especially enjoyed going line-dancing, a hobby she participated in for over 25 years. Norma is survived by many who loved her dearly including her husband of 65 years: Rudy Osswald of Appleton; sisters: Betty Kremsreiter of Wausau, Darlene (Claron) Jacobson of Barbourville, Ky., Rita (Lynden) Scott of Genoa, Ill.; brother: Melton (Judy) Christiansen of Knox City, Mo.; her children: Al (Amy) Osswald of Darboy, Carla (Brian) Hamilton of Kaukauna, and Jay (Jolene) Osswald of Kaukauna; grandchildren: Zacck Hamilton and Stephanie Lancour; step-grandchildren: Kayla and Jonathan Lambie, and Harrison Hamilton; and great-grandchild, Noah Lancour. She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister: Ruth, who died as an infant; and a brother: Dale. Services for Norma will be held on Tuesday, June 13, at 11:15 a.m. at Bethany Lutheran Church, 124 W. 10th St., Kaukauna.
