Karla Wolfinger (Kuchelmeister) - Age 82, passed away at home on Christmas Day. There she was blessed to spend it with her family on earth and in heaven. The Funeral Liturgy for Karla will be held on Saturday, Jan. 7, at 11 a.m. at St Katharine Drexel - St.

Janice M. Beyer - Kaukauna - Age 87, died peacefully at St. Paul Elder Services on Tuesday, Dec. 13, 2022. She was born in Bay Settlement on July 6, 1935, to the late Wilbert and Cecelia (Champeau) Grall. At the age of 6 she lost her mother and gained a stepmother, Eleanor Grall.

Frida M. Borri Bodde - Age 92, passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 20, 2022. She was born to the late Vittorio and Emma (Fantappié) Borri on Oct. 21, 1930, in Florence, Italy.

Donald Frank Kroll - Age 88, passed away Dec. 19, 2022, peacefully surrounded by his family and their love. Don was born to Lawrence and Irene (Kranhold) Kroll in Appleton.

Laverne Miller- “Vernie”- Age 86, was welcomed into eternal life on Saturday, Dec. 17, 2022, being greeted by her daughter, Mary, whose earthly birthday was Dec. 17. Vernie was born Sept. 22, 1936, in Little Chute, the middle child of Genevieve (Hietpas) and Barney Lamers.

Dennis Merbach- Darboy, Age 76, born July 1946, died December of 2022, at Theda Care Hospital. He was adopted by Walter F. Merbach and the former Harriett De Bruin, as an infant. They farmed in Calumet County outside Hilbert and on highways 10 and 55.

Robert Polakowski​ “Bob”- Age 97, passed away surrounded by family on Dec. 6, 2022. He was born in Redgranite on March 3, 1925, to the late Gustave and Cora (Bruett) Polakowski. Bob graduated high school in 1942.

Carol Janet Van Thull (Wurdinger)- Combined Locks- Age 87, surrounded by her loved ones, passed away peacefully in prayer on Friday, Dec. 9, 2022. Born May 11, 1935, to Everett and Nellie (Stienen) Wurdinger, Carol grew up in Kimberly and graduated from Kimberly High School in 1953.

Kim Marie Worsch (Martzahl) - On Dec. 11, 2022, Kim left this life to join her mother in heaven surrounded by her family that was there throughout the week at Aurora Baycare Hospital. Kim was born in Kaukauna to her adoring parents, Sandra (Skalmusky) and Paul Martzahl on Sept. 21, 1962.

John DeKoch -I was born in August of 1925. During the depression years, my mother would hand me a pail and send me down the block to the railroad tracks where I would pick up coal that had fallen off the train cars … The coal that would help supplement heat in our home during those years.
