Little Chute junior Ben Toeppler is off to a solid start to the cross country season. Toeppler had the team’s top finishes during their first two meets of the season.
The Kimberly girls volleyball team went 3-1 in a home invite last week as they earned wins over Brookfield East, Shawano, and Oshkosh West and took a three set loss to Fond du Lac in the invite.

The Kaukauna Galloping Ghosts boys soccer team started their season off right with a 6-0 road win over Manitowoc. The Ghosts had 14 shots on goal in the win and limited the Ships to three shots offensively.
The Kimberly girls golf team continued to get strong golf play from Sophia Haferman, while the Little Chute Mustangs also took second in two conference meets last week.

From goal line stops to a 100 plus yard return, the Kimberly Papermakers defense definitely stepped up last week in their 23-7 home win over Bay Port. The Papermakers had three red zone stands highlighted by Chris Thao’s 103-yard fumble return touchdown in the win.
The Kaukauna boys volleyball program will have a new but familiar voice at the helm this fall. Carter Belling, who has been a part of the two previous coaching staffs is now leading the program.
The Kimberly to UW-Oshkosh trend for girls volleyball will continue next year as senior Ava Van Hammond is now the most recent Papermakers volleyball player to commit to Jon Ellman’s nationally ranked squad. The senior will join recent grad Ava Van Camp on his team next year.
With a good mix of experience and youth, the Kaukauna Galloping Ghosts cross country teams look to use that to get into the mix in the FVA this fall. Last fall, the Ghosts finished fourth at the conference meet with the girls getting 122 points and the boys getting 145 points.
