Alice F. Van De Hey - Age 94, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on April 13, 2025. She was born on Jan. 1, 1931, daughter of the late Peter and Laura (Hietpas) Coenen. On April 21, 1951, Alice married Dick Van De Hey, and together they celebrated 70 years of marriage before his passing in 2021. Alice was proud of raising her five children and being a grandmother and great-grandmother. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, baking and reading. Alice and Dick enjoyed 25 years living on Lake Winneconne before moving back to the Fox Valley. She volunteered with the funeral lunches at St. Mary Church in Winneconne. Spending time with her family was most important to Alice. She will be truly missed. Alice is survived by her children: Lyle (Wanda) Van De Hey, Cindy (Frank) Dillinger and Janice (Ken) Schmitz; sons-in-law: Ralph Smudde (Cheryl Van Toll) and Randy Uitenbroek (Sheila Schink); grandchildren: Travis (Heidi) Van De Hey, Cory (Danielle) Van De Hey, Becky Smudde, Kristin (Tyler) Maahs, Amy (Nick) Wurdinger, Craig Dillinger, Tanya (Rich) Van Horn, Kara (Brian) Schaefer, Adam (Sophie) Schmitz and Megan (Ryan) Albrecht; step-grandchildren: Jeff (Ann E.) Millard, Emily (Terry) Schwartz and Jackie (Matt) Tilman; great-grandchildren: Kaitlyn, Ethan, Taylor (fiancé Juan), Lauren, Kaeden, Kinley, Bentley, Jack, Leah, Foster, Truitt, Declan, Hendrick, Ari, Aubrey, Sydney, Emery, Brooklyn, Molly, Quinn, Trevor, Addison, and Joshua; siblings: Marilyn Van Dyke, Norman Coenen, Lloyd (Julie) Coenen; sister-in-law: Maggie Coenen; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Alice was preceded in death by her husband, Dick; daughters: Kathy Smudde and Linda Uitenbroek; parents, Peter and Laura Coenen; siblings: Irvan Coenen, LaVerne (Rich) McCarthy, Ray Coenen, Bill Coenen; in-laws: Norbert Van Dyke, Rose Coenen, Doris Carlson, Pat Coenen, Ray (Helen) Van De Hey, Norb (Margaret) Van De Hey, Howard (Pat) Van De Hey, Iline (Joe) Nackers; Dick’s parents, Henry and Bardine Van De Hey. A private family service will be held at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church in Little Chute. Alice will be buried next to her husband at Holy Name Cemetery in Kimberly.
