Kimberly boys win final 14 games to earn share of FVA championship


Andrew Hanlon photo Kimberly’s Grant Asman scored 12 points in the Papermakers’ FVA title-clinching game Saturday at Appleton East. Kimberly and Neenah will share the conference crown in 2020-21.
After an 84-51 home win over Appleton West Thursday — and coupled with Neenah’s win at Oshkosh North the same night — the table was set for the Papermakers to earn a share of the Fox Valley Association regular-season title. All Kimberly had to do was beat Appleton East on the road Saturday afternoon and win its 14th consecutive game.
