Rosner makes jump to D-1 for final season of college basketball


Winona State University photo — After playing for Division II Winona State University for the past four seasons, Kimberly High School graduate Alec Rosner has decided to use his fifth season to transfer to play at Western Illinois as a graduate transfer. The NCAA granted all players an extra year of eligibility because of the 2021 COVID-19 marred season.
When Alec Rosner was being recruited out of high school, Division I basketball programs didn’t show much interest in the Kimberly product.
