Another proposal for a hotel in Kaukauna is on the agenda for tomorrow’s plan commission meeting.

The meeting agenda includes a request for a special exception for the placement and operation of a 67-room hotel at 222 Lawe St., submitted by Jim Walter of Harvest Development, LLC of Bristol, Wis., in Kenosha County.

The Buchanan Town Board at last week’s meeting set the assessment at $3,965.50 per lot for 2021 road projects on Creekview Lane, Woodstock Lane and Northbrook Court.

Someone to fill the supervisor 4 vacancy, created when Greg Sprangers was elected town board chair, is being sought by the Buchanan Town Board.

At the Kimberly Public Library, staff are already excited for summer. The theme this summer is “Tails and Tales.” 

The city’s branding and public image efforts will take another step soon as new banners will be unfurled along key portions of Kaukauna. That includes 55 light standards along Lawe Street, Crooks Avenue, Wisconsin Avenue plus both 2nd and 3rd Streets.
