Sadie O’Brien, who has spent 20 years in technical services with the Shiocton School District, was approved last week as director of informational technology by the Little Chute School Board.
She replaces Diana Sepe, who is retiring at the end of this school year.
Memories were unleashed from the brains of many people who attended Kaukauna High School and River View Middle School on April 11 during the open house for the 100th anniversary celebration of the school at 101 Oak St. in Kaukauna.
Today is Earth Day, but Earth Day isn’t a one and done initiative, it’s a commitment to begin lifelong changes that impact our environment and the overall health of our planet.
The 2023 theme for Earth is “Invest in Our Planet.”

Kaukauna Police arrested Jeremy Dismuke about 10:15 a.m. Thursday morning after he fled his vehicle, which came to a stall in the Highway CE median between Electa Quinney and Dr. H. B. Tanner elementary schools. Dismuke initially went down to the ground after leaving his vehicle but took off running shortly thereafter before he was caught on the CE Trail.

The Kaukauna Police Department had a long ordeal come to a safe conclusion Thursday morning about seven hours after they made contact with a 42-year old male from Kaukauna in the 1400 block of Crooks Ave.
Residential growth and the need to protect the citizenry prompted the Harrison Village Board to unanimously approve amendments to the 2003 ordinance governing the discharge of firearms in the village at last week’s meeting.

St. Ignatius Chesterton Academy upperclassmen from Kaukauna participated in the school’s inaugural pilgrimage to Italy with the Chesterton Schools Network from March 13-24.
In many sports scenarios a tie is an unwanted outcome. But for northside Little Chute residents a rare tie vote among the six Little Chute trustees present for the March 22 special session of the village board was that; the tie was at least a temporary win.
