Kayla Van Eyck and Delaney Ward have been really stepping up their game for the Ghosts girls volleyball team. Van Eyck had 12 kills, while Ward had eight kills and six blocks in Kaukauna’s win over Oshkosh West last week.

The Kaukauna girls cross country team continues to put up good times as they took first in the Evan Kratochwill Invitational last week in Cross Plains. The Ghosts had 49 points led by the Fauske sisters, who placed second and third respectively.

Kimberly’s Schumacher takes first at Appleton North regional

Kimberly’s Jenna Schumacher followed up her third place conference finish with the best score at the regional meet last week at Butte Des Morts Country Club. Schumacher posted a 75, while Kaukauna’s McKenna Lowe had the second best score with a 78.

Little Chute’s Ashley Wilson is officially a school record holder as she broke the cross country record last week. Wilson broke Lindsey Grams’ record time of 19:05 with a fourth place run of 19:00.5 in the Red Raider invite last Thursday.

The Kimberly Papermakers kept the Neenah Rockets from crashing their homecoming party last week. The Papermakers used two second half touchdowns to seal the deal as they handed Neenah a 21-0 loss Friday at Papermakers Stadium.

Goalkeepers hold serve in Kimberly-Kaukauna soccer match

The goalkeepers for both Kimberly and Kaukauna made sure that last week’s matchup added to the school’s rivalry. Kimberly goalkeeper Noah Sommer and Kaukauna goalkeeper William Murray combined for 14 saves in Kimberly’s 1-0 win last week.
