After making a state meet appearance last season, the Kaukauna cross country team is aiming to build off those results this season. The team aims to work hard for each and one another this year.
The Kimberly Papermakers and Kaukauna Galloping Ghosts started regular season action last week. Kaukauna earned opened their season with a win over Manitowoc Lincoln, while Kimberly fell in their first two matches.
The Kaukauna Galloping Ghosts girls volleyball team is off to an 8-4 start after winning five of their seven matches in the Battle of the Northeast tournament in Appleton last week.
NEW LONDON - The Little Chute Mustangs scored in all phases of the game to get their win over New London last week. The Mustangs scored on offense, defense and special teams in their 33-6 washing of the Bulldogs on the road.

Sam McGivern and Lance Doering made clutch plays at the end of Kimberly’s win over Bay Port last week. Doering capped off a nine plus minute drive with a game winning field goal before McGivern sealed the 17-14 win with a sack to give the Papermakers the win.
Kimberly’s cross country teams are looking for another successful season. Led by Logan Salzmann and Elie Volheim-Bisek, the team brings back four state qualifiers from last year’s team and brings back eight runners that ran at last year’s sectional meet in Manitowoc.
