The Kaukauna Ghosts suffered two close losses last week as they fell to 2-9 on the season. The Ghosts suffered a 5-4 loss to Neenah before losing a 10 inning thriller to Bay Port in non-conference play.

Huss sets school record for Little Chute track and field

Riley Huss set a school record last week for the Little Chute Mustangs track and field team. Huss took second with a time of 4:19.55 in the 1600 meter run at the Hale Distance Night on April 28 as he finished neck and neck with Pacelli’s Adam Eiden, who won the event in 4:19.40.

The last two weeks have been record setting ones for Kaukauna’s Amber Gerrits. A week after breaking a six year school record, the sophomore broke her own record in the 100 meter hurdles last week at the Gil Frank invite at Papermakers stadium.

Little Chute let a game get away from them last week. After having a 3-1 lead in their first game against Denmark, the Mustangs surrendered four runs late to suffer a loss as they are on a two game losing streak heading into this week.
