The Kaukauna baseball team is finally putting some offense together. Jake Lucas and Sean Severson helped lead the charge last week as the team looks to end the regular season on a high note.
The Little Chute Mustangs softball season came to an end last week. The Mustangs fell after a seven run sixth inning opened the game up and handed them a 14-6 season ending loss in the WIAA regionals as they ended the season with a 3-18 record.
Haylie Wittman’s freshman season as a member of the UW-Oshkosh softball team ended last week. The Titans went 2-2 in their home regional as they ended their season at 36-9 after starting the season 17-1.
Madison Tripp continued to be a key leader last week for the Kaukauna Galloping Ghosts soccer team. The sophomore scored two goals in Kaukauna’s road win over Oshkosh North.
Charlie Vanden Burgt was a big leader for the Little Chute Mustangs baseball team last week. The junior notched four hits offensively and had nine strikeouts on the mound in the team’s recent action.
The Kimberly boys and girls track and field teams both took home the conference championship hardware this season. Both teams took first in the FVA conference championship track meet at Appleton West last week as the boys scored 176 points and the girls scored 144 points.
The Kimberly Papermakers soccer team finally got what they didn’t get last year. After the team’s win over Oshkosh West last week, Kimberly claimed the conference title for this season.
