The Kimberly offense struggled in their Homecoming loss to Neenah last week. The Papermakers punted five times in their 7-0 home loss and had two costly fumbles from their running backs in the defeat.
Kaukauna alum and Wheaton College backup quarterback Finnley Doriot saw action last week in a 61-13 win over Carroll. The sophomore threw two touchdowns on 4-for-8 passing with two touchdowns in the win for the Thunder.
Senior Reese Fauske helped lead the Kaukauna girls cross country team to a seventh place finish at last week’s Len Nikolai Invite in Manitowoc. Fauske took fifth with a time of 19:40.6 as the girls had 224 points in the meet.
Ella Bolz and Sarah Reider earned first place finishes for the Kimberly girls tennis team as the team played in an invite at Oshkosh West last weekend.
The Kimberly boys volleyball team tied for fifth at the Middleton invite last weekend as they beat Edgewood and Appleton North in three sets and suffered two losses to Catholic Memorial in the tournament.
The Kimberly Papermakers had two golfers finish in the top five of last week’s conference golf meet at the Chaska golf course. Senior Alyssa Schumacher shot an 83, while Sophia Haferman shot an 88 as Kimberly took second with a 363 strokes.
The Little Chute Mustangs volleyball team took first at last week’s Valders invite as the team grabbed wins over Florence, Denmark, Omro and Reedsville last weekend.
The Kaukauna Galloping Ghosts ended a streak in their rivalry matchup with Kimberly last week. The Ghosts scored their first goal against Kimberly since 2018 as the two programs played to a 1-1 tie on River Surge night last week.
Kimberly’s girls cross country team took sixth at last week’s Midwest Invite in Janesville. The girls had 310 points, while the boys took 14th with 453 points.
