The Kimberly girls’ tennis team remained unbeaten after last week’s shutout of Oshkosh North on the road.
Makers’ No. 1 singles player Julia Gurholt beat the Spartans’ Maya Walker, 6-0, 6-0. No. 2 Grace Kieffer followed suit with a 6-0, 6-0 win over Julia Bock, and Isabella Zappa took care of Sophie Milke, 6-0, 6-1.

The Kimberly boys’ soccer team had a few early-season tests against some of the top teams in the state in Division 1, but maybe that prepared the Papermakers for conference play as the team began its Fox Valley Association season with a 5-0 win over Fond du Lac.

Kimberly’s Macy Herman had 6 kills, 14 digs and 33 assists in the Papermakers’ come-from-behind, upset victory on the road at No. 1-ranked Appleton North Thursday night.
The Kimberly girls’ volleyball team fell behind 2-0 against the No. 1 team in the state in Division 1. Appleton North was unbeaten at 12-0 heading into Thursday’s match.
But the Papermakers responded with three straight wins. They stayed alive with a 25-21 third-set victory and then won the fourth 25-19.
The Kaukauna girls’ golf team routed Oshkosh North at home at Countryside Golf Course last Monday and then held on for a four-shot win on the road against Hortonville at Grand View Golf Course.

With four more wins last week, the Papermaker girls’ tennis team continued its undefeated streak to start the fall season.
Kimberly played twice on Wednesday, beating Fond du Lac and Appleton East. The Makers played two more times Thursday, taking down Notre Dame Academy and La Crosse Central.
Both the Kaukauna girls’ and boys’ cross country teams had multiple top-10 finishers and cruised to wins at the Ghosts’ first meet of the season, the Freedom Irish Waters Invite, on Friday.

Versus Appleton North
The Kimberly girls’ golf team took on Appleton North at home at Countryside Golf Course on Tuesday, and despite getting a 37 from Jenna Schumacher, fell by four strokes to Appleton North, 182-186.
