Kaukauna High School has selected 13 students as students of the month for February of the 2020-21 school year. Students are selected by a staff member in each department in the school.

Little Chute’s Tess Keyzers, now a junior at the University of Minnesota, won her first Big 10 championship last weekend, finishing first in the weight throw with a final mark of 21.66 meters (71 ft., ¾ in.) at the 2021 Big Ten Women’s Indoor Track and Field Championships. She was also named first-team all-Big 10.
The Kimberly Papermakers boys’ basketball team is returning to the state tournament for the first time since 2007 after routing Menomonee Falls 78-46 Saturday in a Division 1 sectional final in front of its home crowd.

Little Chute’s Drew Lamers and an influential group of seniors’ careers came to an end Saturday after a 60-38 loss in a Division 2 regional final at Xavier one night after earning a dramatic double-overtime win over Menasha at home.
APPLETON – With the jolt of energy the Little Chute Mustangs earned in their win over the Menasha Bluejays Friday, the chance to knock off No. 1 seed Xavier seemed like more of a possibility than just another game in their WIAA Division 2 regional championship Saturday.
The start of the first and second halves were not what the Kimberly girls’ basketball team wanted in its sectional final against Germantown last Saturday afternoon.
