Kaukauna High School names February students of the month

Kaukauna High School has selected 13 students as students of the month for February of the 2020-21 school year. Students are selected by a staff member in each department in the school.

Q&A: Tess Keyzers, former Mustang turned Big 10 Champion


Gopher Athletics photo/Former Little Chute multi-sport standout Tess Keyzers won her first Big 10 title in the women’s weight throw this past weekend at the Women’s Indoor Conference Meet.
Little Chute’s Tess Keyzers, now a junior at the University of Minnesota, won her first Big 10 championship last weekend, finishing first in the weight throw with a final mark of 21.66 meters (71 ft., ¾ in.) at the 2021 Big Ten Women’s Indoor Track and Field Championships. She was also named first-team all-Big 10.

Kimberly routs Falls to return to state for first time since 2007

The Kimberly Papermakers boys’ basketball team is returning to the state tournament for the first time since 2007 after routing Menomonee Falls 78-46 Saturday in a Division 1 sectional final in front of its home crowd.

APPLETON – With the jolt of energy the Little Chute Mustangs earned in their win over the Menasha Bluejays Friday, the chance to knock off No. 1 seed Xavier seemed like more of a possibility than just another game in their WIAA Division 2 regional championship Saturday.
