Thirty-two nonprofits throughout northeastern Wisconsin received a much-needed boost when the David L. and Rita E. Nelson Family Fund within the Community Foundation for the Fox Valley Region awarded more than $6.24 million in grants.
The fund has provided over $21 million in grants since its creation four years ago.

The apartment building previously proposed for the back end of the Lawe Street property closer to Catherine Street will be joined by a similar-looking building off Lawe Street. Dreamville Kaukauna LLC plans to build 180 luxury class A market rate apartments within the two buildings.
Work begins this week on the Kimberly-Little Chute Community Bridge to place an epoxy overlay on the bridge. Work will be completed under traffic utilizing single lane closures. The work that increases bridge deck safety and service life is slated to take 1-2 weeks.
