The Little Chute Mustangs golf team won a conference meet at the Little River Country Club last week. The Mustangs won the meet with 329 strokes as Shaymus Smith took second with 76 strokes.
Little Chute showed their might with a fifth place boys finish and a sixth place girls finish at last week’s Gil Frank Invite in Kimberly. The boys had 71 points in the meet, while the girls had 53.5 points in the meet.
Maddux Hermus showed his pitching dominance and his pop in Kimberly’s 2-1 win over Kaukauna last week. Hermus struck out nine on the mound and provided the go-ahead home run in the victory over their conference rivals from the other side of County Road CE.
The Kaukauna boys track team defended their home turf well in their home invite last week. The boys won with 108 points, while the girls team took second with 143.5 points.
