McKenna Lowe and Charlie Clinefelter also earned big postseason honors by the Golf Coaches Association of Wisconsin. Lowe was named to the state’s second team, while Clinefelter was named to the third team.
The Little Chute girls cross country team headline the North Eastern Conference honors for the Mustangs. The girls had three first team honorees and the conference’s runner of the year.
Kaukauna football made their mark on the all-conference honors this season. Parker Schuh, Braeden Jansen, and head coach Matt Binsfeld earned some of the bigger honors for the conference this season.
After four years of making it to state, Kimberly’s Julia Gurholt knew that she wanted to keep it going with her tennis game. The senior signed her letter of intent to play at Division 2’s Minnesota State-Mankato last week.

One of the best softball pitchers the state has ever seen has made her college commitment. Now ranked No. 4 in the nation, Kaukauna’s Karly Meredith signed her letter of intent to play her college softball at the University of Virginia.
Kimberly alum and UW-Platteville senior Logan Pearson started the Pioneers basketball season out in style. The former Papermakers basketball star hit a game winner for the Pioneers and scored 35 points and had eight rebounds in their 82-81 road win over No. 9 Calvin last week.
Kaukauna alum and University of Colorado – Colorado Springs track and cross country runner Anna Fauske has made history in her final season of collegiate running. The senior has broken school records in the 5k, 3k and Distance Medley Relay during her career at the school.
The Kaukauna Galloping Ghosts came up one drive short of another game in Level 4 of the WIAA playoffs. Trailing 20-14 to West De Pere, Kaukauna had the ball at the 15-yard line with under 30 seconds to go before three Bron Schaefer incompletions ended their season.
Turnovers doomed the Kimberly Papermakers in their Level 2 home loss to Neenah last week. The Kimberly offense committed four turnovers as they ended their season with a 34-14 loss to the Rockets.
